MONDAY Tall Dark Aromatic Hookup Café edition by Fifi Flowers Literature Fiction eBooks
Such a quick read! This was definitely a insta-love story; Pansie sees Basil come into her coffee shop Cafélicious! the first time and she can't stop thinking of him. It was a mutual feeling with Basil since he was leaving her notes of poetry on his napkins.I felt the story was good but at some times rushed. It felt the passage of time was just a week or so before they were saying I love you to each other and moving in. But with all the poetry that Basil was saying to Pansie she couldn't help but to fall so hard for him.

MONDAY Tall Dark Aromatic Hookup Café edition by Fifi Flowers Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This story is about Pansie who owns Cafélicious. Her cousin Marzi helps out. All of her employees call her place Hookup Café. Then one morning, a scraggy man who smelled good walked in and Pansie couldn’t get whoever he was out of her mind.
At open mic he finally said his name was Basil. He wrote a poem. Basil owned a Garden Center. They both were attracted to each other. It was really intense but filled with passion.
The author is a new to me and let me tell you that I was immersed right at the beginning. This is a standalone but there are 5 other books in this series. The writing was great, the setting was neat and the characters were described well. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
Parts of the story I liked
While reading at the 89% mark I liked what was happening.
“Excuse me, but could I get a cup of coffee. I know I shouldn’t even be in here. I truly apologize. Just plain dark roast is all I need. Nothing fancy. Just tall, dark and aromatic”
“Most of the best things in life are worth the wait.”

This is the first novella in the Hookup Cafe series. Pansie, the owner of Cafélicious, spends most of her time at the cafe or at her apartment. She is surrounded by friends, but hasn't really found time for dating recently with starting and running her own business. One day, a new customer comes in to the cafe to order a coffee. She is attracted to him at first glance, but then she notices his clothes are covered in dirt and he has dirt under his fingernails. He also said he lost his wallet and has no money, so she gives him the coffee for free, thinking he might be homeless.
Soon after that, he becomes a regular customer, always ordering the same tall, dark and aromatic coffee...and bringing his wallet every time. She slowly realizes he is probably not homeless, but still isn't sure what to make of him. One day, he shows up at the café's poetry night and sweeps her off her feet. Now she just needs to decide what she wants.
I would give this book 2.5 stars. I liked the concept but I don't think I would have gone off into the dark alley with Basil quite as quickly as Pansie did. I am curious as to what the next books in the series are like, though. I was asked by the author for an honest review.
3 stars
I don't give out many little star ratings but this book I'm sorry I did not capture me it did not do anything it's actually kind of bored me at first but I still read on and my first assumption others back was oh it's gonna get better but it didn't not for me the characters are just not real to me. Characters from me and I can pop through the pages are the best kinds of characters and these didn't do it I'm sorry to say.
This is a quick read. Might be just the right amount of quirkiness that he might want to read.
Happy sexy reading
Fun fast read! Highly enjoyed! Great start to an awesome series!
Super sweet and cute with a bit of funny and naughty, it was awesome and I loved it! ^_^ I am off to read the next book from this awesome series! ^_^
Monday by FiFi Flowers
This is my first book by Ms. Flowers. It was fun, flirty, quirky and a quick read. It is a novella after all. Her characters are well fleshed for all that. Pansie the smart business woman with no time to call her ow. Basil, the ‘is he homeless’ sesxy as sin poet make quite the couple. Her style of writing is different from the norm and made a nice change. There’s no real strife or angst, just two people inextricably drawn to one another. Sweet, sexy happy reading.
I never thought I would be a person who wants angst in a book, but this one needed something. It was so light that it felt a little flat to me. Besides Pansie's inner struggle that is resolved pretty quickly, there's nothing else going on. I didn't like how Pansie's mom came off as snobbish for a paragraph and then everything was great. This was good for a quick, light read but I guess I just needed more.
